What do you notice about the writing - the way the author wrote? (For example: Is it descriptive, persuasive? Does it include figurative language?)
The writing format of the author is very detailed and descriptive. The characters are spoken about from the point of view of the protagonist. Although the plot of the book is very formal as it speaks about royalty, the writing style isn't as formal.

Fiction:
The character who taught me the most was the protagonist, Gaia stone. Even though she experienced a lot of tragic things at a young age, she still kept on going as she knew that if she didn't, no one else will. She fought hard, ad helped create a fair and peaceful society.

Fiction:This book shows the life of Gaia Stone outside the Enclave.She find finds herself in a society run by women who are outnumbered by the men there.They live by strict rules, and women are unhappy as they are told how and how not to live and interact with the men in their society.This leaves Gaia struggling as she tries to change the norms of society.This book teaches an important lesson of fighting for what you believe in.

Fiction: The book novel birthmarked is Fictional. There aren't any connections between my life and the book. In the book, the protagonist, Gaia, is a sixteen year old midwife, who takes babies from their biological mothers, and advances them to the Enclave. Looking at this I can see no connections. I am neither a sixteen year old girl, nor a midwife.
